Flower Show Reflection

Before the day that we started preparing for the flower show, everybody in the class drew what they were gonna do in their IBL book. The next day, I didn't have anything for the flower show, so I started helping my friend Shylah.

 Me and Shylah we're doing a wind chime, but that didn't turn out very well, so we both started doing Symmetry in nature , which turned out very well. I was doing mine on a whiteboard, and Shylah did hers on my IBL book cover.

 I started out putting leaves on mine and then some flowers on the top. Some nectar from a "fluffy" flower, some lily pads with rose petals and a flower on top.

After the voting was done I got a highly commended for my Symmetry in nature, I was really happy with how my flower show product turned out, and proud of what I had. 😊

And I really wanna thank Shylah for letting me use half her stuff that she had for the flower show.

Grow your own Oxygen Reflection

In Term 4, Sofija & Aislinn decided to start growing plants, so we asked Whaea Teena. It's name ended up becoming "Grow your own Oxygen" which we thought was a good name, because plants, trees, & even weeds give off oxygen. Shylah had decided to join us the next day.

We started growing some Tomatoes, Green Apple, Rose Mary, Locids, Chilli's, Dahlia, Sylvia, Sunflowers, & Japanese Amone. We made a spot in our class room where we keep all our plants. All of Shylah's plants are Dahlia, Rose Mary, Tomatoes, Sunflower, & Locids, All of Aislinn's plants were locids.

All of Sofia's plants were Green Apple, Rose Mary, Sylvia, & Japanese Amone. All of Lorenzo's plant's were Chilli's.

We all take care of the plants, and are amazed in how much our plants how grown over the Term.

Tahi Rua Toru Tech Challenge Reflection

In Term 3, Room 22 participated in the Tahi Rua Toru Tech Challenge. The people in my group were, Aislinn (Leader), Sofija (Seeker), Jake (Secretary) . For week 1 we had to think of what we were going to do for our app. We had all agreed to make an app that records birds, and tells you what bird they are and show them how to stop them from being endangered.

We started to make a brainstorm for it, we write for what the app would be like, and what we are going to do with it, We started to make a paper plan, and I decided to make a paper plan that works with just using slides.

In the end we didn’t make it but it was fine, because we learned to work with others even if we don’t like working with them, and I was proud with what we finished with. 😊

I woke up to the horrible noise of my alarm clock….”who needs to wake up?”i flop back into by bed and doze off to sleep….. “Tiiiiime for school!” shouts mum  The sound of horror strait horror….Chap 1 Who needs Breakfast? I get dressed Real fast and head out to school CLANG!! “Hey Ted!!” Great the class clown bumped into me…. “Why didn't  the cannibal eat me”.... “ because i tasted to funny!” *Cricket chirps* Well looks like i have the time to escape… “hey Ted! What do you call...Ted? Ted?” Ahhhh Class sweet Class….. “Ow!” i scream “well well well..” says the School Bully

I think this story by Caroline is Awesome. I like how her story is relatibal. (at least to me.) and also because she hooks you in for more. How she used the bullet points were really clever. I know noone in the class that made that type of end what will happen next?
